Having an interest in sports and in the human body, Richard completed his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. He has experience working at many different health clinics, which inspired him to pursue massage therapy as a helping hand in healthcare. He enjoys being able to make a positive impact in his patients’ wellness. Richard believes the therapist and the patient are part of an individualized team; meaning the therapist communicates well and uses their skills to help achieve the patient’s goals and needs. Richard works with a combination of myofascial techniques, deep tissue releases as well as joint mobilizations when needed.
Outside of work, you would find Richard on the court, having competed in nationals for badminton during his high school days. He enjoy teaching, coaching, and spending time with his family on his off days.
