Our registered massage therapists are trained to help alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, physical activities, and chronic conditions, helping to restore muscle function, increase flexibility, range of motion and relieve stress.

What to Expect

First time to massage therapy?

Although there isn't any special preparation needed, we recommend coming in well hydrated and continuing to stay hydrated afterwards.

During your appointment, our massage therapist will inquire about your general health, medical history, health concerns, and your expectations for treatment.

Your therapist will leave the room to give you privacy to get prepared on the massage table.

A clean and sanitized sheet or blankets will be provided to ensure you are properly covered throughout your session.

During your sessions, the therapist will conduct appropriate therapy methods with suitable pressure. The therapist may use oils or lotions to reduce friction. Please advise the therapist ahead of time if you have any allergies.

If at any time pressure applied is excessive in pain, please communicate with your therapist. Our therapists can adjust their techniques, accommodating to your comfort levels.

Types of massage therapy

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of treatment that relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of massage. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading and gliding to help the body improve its circulation. Swedish massage not only helps with relaxation but it also helps relieve muscle tension, fatigue, depression, anxiety. It is also used as an integral part of pain management protocols for sports injuries and chronic pain.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body’s natural immune function.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage is for expecting moms in all stages of their pregnancy journey. Helping to release tension, reduce stress, and muscle cramps, it can bring relief in many ways. Helping to improve blood and lymph circulation can help reduce edema (swelling) as well. Our therapists understand the needs of the different stages of pregnancy, using safe massage techniques to bring more comfort to you through this journey. A body cushion is used to allow expecting moms to lie comfortably during treatment.
